The boys had their surgery today and they were both successful.

When we arrived they took us back to surgery prep where they take their vitals and get them changed into their gowns. Igor was first and they gave him some medicine to make him very relaxed (ok more like drunk) and it was a hoot. He was being silly and sticking his tongue out and saying blah blah. We have decided that he will be a funny drunk.

When Sasha got his medication he was very love dovey. Yep, he is going to be the "I love you man" kinda drunk. We really got to see a fun side of him with the medication. He was giving kisses out like candy. I accepted as many as possible. After four months of his screaming and tantruming we are enjoying EVERY one of his happy moments...medicated or not.

After surgery the boys had a bottle of juice and then we fed them a banana and blueberry muffin. The nurses monitored them for a bit longer and then we got our perscriptions and headed home.
We had a very restless night last night with Igor so we all took a nap at about noon. It was great to get in a couple hours and we all felt better when we woke up.

They boys have had their afternoon snack and some tylenol with codine and are feeling WONDERFUL right about now. Sasha has gone back to giving out kisses. Man, he is a hoot. It has just made Igor very sleepy. We are watching a baby einstien and hanging out...I love my boys.
